PIER71, the Port of Singapore's innovation hub, visits Opentop
Opentop has welcomed a visit from PIER71, the maritime innovation ecosystem co-founded by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and NUS Enterprise. The session, held in a hybrid format with more than 50 participants, brought together institutional representatives from both ecosystems and thirteen logistics and port startups in an international pitching session.
The meeting highlighted the shared commitment of both organisations to advancing open innovation in the maritime sector and exploring synergies between the Valencian port ecosystem and Asia's leading port innovation reference.

Opentop at Next Train Ports in Athens
This May, Opentop took part in a study visit to the Port of Piraeus (Athens, Greece) as part of Next Train Ports, the Erasmus+ initiative aimed at strengthening the digital and strategic skills of port sector middle managers to navigate the technological and energy transition towards digital innovation and sustainability.

Opentop to attend the H2O Conference 2026 in Canada
Opentop will be present at the H2O Home to Overseas Conference, the flagship event for the ocean technology sector in Canada. The conference will take place on 9 and 10 June 2026 in Halifax, bringing together companies, investors, institutions and innovative startups from the maritime and marine sciences space.

Opentop ha recibido la visita de PIER71, el ecosistema de innovación marítima cofundado por la Autoridad Marítima y Portuaria de Singapur (MPA) y NUS Enterprise. La jornada, celebrada en formato híbrido con más de 50 participantes, reunió a representantes institucionales de ambos ecosistemas y a trece startups del ámbito logístico-portuario en una sesión de pitching internacional.
El encuentro puso de manifiesto la voluntad de ambas organizaciones de impulsar la innovación abierta en el sector marítimo y explorar sinergias entre el ecosistema portuario valenciano y el referente asiático de innovación portuaria.

Opentop ha participado este mes de mayo en una estancia en el Puerto del Pireo (Atenas- Grecia) dentro del proyecto Next Train Ports, la iniciativa Erasmus+ que impulsa las capacidades digitales y estratégicas de los mandos intermedios del sector portuario para gestionar la transición tecnológica y energética hacia la innovación digital y la sostenibilidad.
