PEIC Resilience Forum: the exclusive event for port resilience innovators

PEIC 2026 introduces a brand-new format: the PEIC Resilience Forum, an exclusive, gathering taking place on October 20 in Valencia, organized by Opentop and powered by 300 Maritime Ventures Program. Designed specifically for startups working in port resilience, it offers curated matchmaking, direct access to international ports and investors, and a front-row seat at one of the most relevant events in the global maritime-logistics ecosystem.

If your startup is working on solutions for port resilience this is the opportunity you have been waiting for.

PEIC 2026, the fourth edition of the Port Entrepreneurship International Congress, introduces the PEIC Resilience Forum: an event taking place on October 20 in Valencia, organized by Opentop and powered by 300 Maritime Ventures Program, an internationally recognized leader in maritime innovation methodologies.

This is not a standard conference. The PEIC Resilience Forum is a carefully curated space where a select group of startups, scale-ups and tech SMEs will connect face-to-face with international port authorities, maritime corporations and venture capital investors, in a format built around meaningful conversations.

Why apply

The port sector is under pressure. Climate events, geopolitical disruption and growing cyber threats are pushing ports to rethink how they operate, how they protect their infrastructure and how they respond to crises.

The PEIC Resilience Forum exists to accelerate that transformation, by bringing the most promising innovations directly to the decision-makers who need them most.

If your technology addresses port resilience, maritime safety, security, surveillance or related challenges, the PEIC Resilience Forum is the place to be.

What selected startups get

  • Curated matchmaking: 1-to-1 meetings, panels, firesides and tailored matching activities designed to generate real connections.

  • International networking: direct access to ports, corporations and venture capital funds across one or both days of PEIC 2026.

  • VDS pass giving you full access to the Valencia Digital Summit, one of Europe's leading tech events.

  • Visit to the Port of Valencia one of the Mediterranean's most important logistics hubs.

  • PEIC Guest Dinner and special activities, exclusive networking moments outside the conference room, where relationships are built.

...and more benefits to be announced.

How it works

The PEIC Resilience Forum is held on October 20 at the Port Authority of Valencia premises.

The following day, October 21, selected startups also gain access to the PEIC Congress, the plenary conference at the City of Arts and Sciences within the Valencia Digital Summit, where keynotes, roundtables, pitch sessions and the PEIC Awards ceremony take place.

Two days. Two formats. One ecosystem.

The call is open to startups, scale-ups and tech SMEs with a functional product or MVP in the areas of port resilience, maritime safety, port security, surveillance, crisis management or related fields.
