For UrbanAlert, this represents a validation that matters a great deal. We don't see this recognition simply as an award for an idea, but as support for a team and a technology designed to improve resilience and the management of critical communication in strategic infrastructure such as Valenciaport. It is also validation that there is a real need for communication infrastructure capable of providing fast, reliable, geolocated and protocol-based information in any situation that could affect safety or business continuity.
In addition, this recognition motivates us to keep developing a solution with real-world impact. This very month we will begin our first operational rollouts at EGM La Mezquita and the Ayuntamiento de La Pobla de Vallbona, an important step that reinforces our commitment to improving incident response capacity and delivering information to people when they need it most.
One of the most enriching aspects of the hackathon, and one we especially want to highlight, was our direct contact with the Valenciaport Cluster Innovation Committee. Beyond their excellent technical level, we found a team that was approachable, accessible and deeply human. That combination of professionalism and warmth created a climate of trust that facilitated the exchange of ideas and turned the co-creation process into an especially enriching experience.
Thanks to that joint work we were able to test our proposal against professionals who know the port's operational challenges first-hand, validate our approach, identify new needs and steer the solution towards real-world scenarios.
That is, precisely, the true value of the hackathon: an open innovation space where startups don't just present a solution but have the opportunity to evolve it together with those who understand the needs of the sector. In our case, that exchange of knowledge allowed us to adapt UrbanAlert to the context of strategic infrastructure such as Valenciaport, and it brought enormous value both to our startup and to the project itself.
We would tell them not to hesitate and to seize the opportunity. It's not just a competition, but an environment where it is possible to work alongside experts, validate a technology against real needs and build relationships that can turn into future projects.
Our experience has shown us that the true value of the hackathon goes far beyond the prize. Over those two days we learned, received extremely valuable feedback, and had the opportunity to work side by side with professionals who know the challenges of the port sector inside out. Regardless of the final result, taking part is already an opportunity to learn, to grow, and to get closer to one of the leading logistics and port ecosystems in the Mediterranean. Valenciaport has shown that open innovation works when there is a genuine willingness to listen, collaborate and build solutions together.
