Save the Date: Port Entrepreneurship International Congress 2024

On October 23rd Opentop, Valenciaport’s innovation hub, will host the Port Entrepreneurship International Congress (PEIC) in the framework of the 7th edition of the Valencia Digital Summit, this premier event will bring together the global port and maritime innovation ecosystems for a day dedicated to exploring the future of the sector.

The PEIC aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities within the port and maritime sector, foster innovation, and identify emerging trends. This event will be pivotal in advancing the industry through collaboration with diverse innovation ecosystems.

This event is a comprehensive, full-day event exclusively focused on innovation and entrepreneurship within the port and maritime sectors. It will feature key industry figures, including representatives from international ports, port innovation hubs, national and international startups, scaleups, and key players from the Valenciaport cluster. Attendees will engage in discussions on sustainability, decarbonization, resilience, security, artificial intelligence, public funding and more. The event will also highlight successful case studies and foster synergies among industry experts.

The forthcoming agenda will include round tables on different topics, for instance on: “The role of the innovation community around ports. The case of Port Innovators Network”, pitches of startups/Scaleups on sessions like “Innovation Lighthouse: Security and resilience” where entrepreneurs can get direct feedback from the industry experts, keynotes on “Venture Builder as a source of innovation for the sector” or “Success stories of public-private partnerships for innovation”; and much more.
